Sommières Book and Serie Club

In january 2018 we started this new thing about watching series and discuss on the episode chosen instead of books. The purpose of our meetings is to keep in touch with the group, speak english and exchange ideas, so we decided to have a try with series for a change. We started with Black Mirror and might go on with  a couple of episodes more since they're all different and dealing with very interesting society subjetcs. February meeting will be host by Sue since Sansavino's will be closed. Please send me your episode suggestions so that we can choose a new one to watch. Isabelle

Thank you Sandrine for hosting today's mini session ! We had a good discussion on "The birth of the pill", Simone Veil and many other things, ate cookies and drank a wonderful green beverage with cucomber and fruits ! As it seems difficult to have many people during summer I've decided to take a vacation break and meet again on September 17th . I will make an effort to create a flyer and try to get new people before. Yes I know I said that already but...time flyes. Please send me your list of wishes, as far as our next reads are concerned, not all your wishes in life I mean... Have a wonderful summer, fellow clubbers. Happy New Year 2017 ! Dear fellow bookworms I wish you all a very happy new year. Health, love, happiness, many exciting projects and a lot of happy readings. Our next meeting will be on January 22nd at Sue's and as we postponed the Christmas party, don't forget to bring a little gift (10 eur max). We will play our traditional secret Santa game.
