2018 year of the series

In january 2018 we started this new thing about watching series and discuss on the episode chosen instead of books. The purpose of our meetings is to keep in touch with the group, speak english and exchange ideas, so we decided to have a try with series for a change. We started with Black Mirror and might go on with  a couple of episodes more since they're all different and dealing with very interesting society subjetcs.
February meeting will be host by Sue since Sansavino's will be closed. Please send me your episode suggestions so that we can choose a new one to watch.

March and April meeting info

We had a great meeting in February.  There was lots to talk about with the book Defending Jacob and of course lots of great food brought by the members to share. For March we have Dear Life by Alice Munro.  The meeting will be at Isabelle's house.  Directions will be forthcoming in an email before the meeting.  We're going to read all the short stories in the book and then we'll discuss the ones we liked best during the meeting. http://www.amazon.fr/dp/B009HSPODE/?tag=wwwellecase0b-21 For April we decided on a book presented by Marielle that she picked up in the S. Korea airport.  It's Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Our Next Book for our meeting June 23rd

I held a vote to pick our next book and got only three responses (boo).  The Great Gastby or Gatsby le magnifique came up as the winner.  Yay!
